Break...

 I am taking a break from studying to spend some time goofing off on the computer. It's my last test of the semester so I should be pumped to get it done but I am having some serious ADD when it comes to studying right now. Nursing school is going great though. My first semester has gone by so fast and it feels great. I wanted to hit people when they would say how I would be done before I knew it. But now I have hope that they might actually be right. December 2013. Not so far way. I like to just say I'm graduating next year because it sounds so close that way. Just have to stay busy. I have very little time for anything that is not school related. I'm even taking summer classes so there will be no breaks there. I just have to power through it and think of how great it will be to finally be an RN.

Rollins Family Pictures

So much has happend and I have all but abandoned this blog. But on the off chance that anyone still looks at it on occasion this is my update. Joshy is officially a police officer. He is working evenings which haven't been that bad. He's home all morning so we have be able to have some very nice lunches together. I have started school and I am one semester away from putting in for the RN program. I am doing well in my classes, and am happy to be getting them done! All is well, and only more good to be expected.

I painted my first room today. I think it turned out pretty good and now I'm thinking of colors to paint everything else. I think I want to do the living room next. The bed room only took a few hours, but the living room has much more wall space so it will take longer. I just have to decide on a color.

Our New Place

So we found our new apartment and it's going to be great! I took some pictures when I went by there today and it's beautiful! Well, it's not really done yet. They are still doing some painting and stuff... but you'll get the idea of it. It's right in downtown Dallas across the street from the Police Headquarters (where Josh will be working), and just about 10min from Children's where I'll be working. Everything is just falling into place for us here and we're pretty happy about it.

Russia Kids!

A few of my girls from Russia came on a USA trip with ILP. I was so excited to see them. They have gotten so big! They are like little people now! Sveta looks so grown up, Sonya has all her teeth now, and Paulina... well, she still looks like she doesn't brush her hair but she is at least a foot taller! Just seeing them brought back so many memories of my time in Russia. I could listen to them speak in Russian and not have to say, "NO RUSSIAN. Speak English!" Gulia was there to keep them in line. We were able to catch up on life a bit, and Gulia tried to talk me into coming back as a head teacher with Josh. I don't think that will be happening, but it was fun to see them here.

Mom and Noni visit!

My mom and Noni came to visit us in Provo. It was the first time either of them had spent time here so we had to go see the sites around here. We went to Salt Lake and saw Ray, and went to temple square. Beautiful! And at our apartment weate chocolate fondu. It was so nice getting to spend some time with them and let them get to know Josh better. It wasn't very eventful, but it was still a nice visit!
